We had super-musicians like Al Kooper, Little Feat’s Bill Payne, Memphis’s Steve Cropper and Duck Dunn and a new keyboardist co-writer Billy Livesey. I brought in Ray Parker, Chuck Rainey, Tom Snow and Toto’s Steve Lukather. There was rock and soul and the fabulous musicians album gave a true reflection of the power of my live show at that time."
