Jackopierce - Finest hour (1996, A&M Records, 31454 0463 2)

Jackopierce formed in 1988 as a duo of Cary Pierce and Jack O'Neill while the two were students at Southern Methodist University in Texas. They generated a large local following before taking to the road where they toured relentlessly building up a national fanbase and promoting their three self-released albums.

Jackopierce had their major label debut in 1994 with Bringing on the weather. In 1995 they added drummer Earl Darling and bassist Clay Pendergrass. The band eventually decided to call it quits in 1997 following a farewell tour.
