Waybill, Fee - Don't be scared by these hands (1996, Edge of Fluke Music, IRS 993.168)

After the release of Love bomb (produced by Todd Rundgren) in 1985, the Tubes and frontman Fee Waybill took a long musical sabatical. In 1996 however the Tubes (Fee included) came up with the brand new album Genius of America, with the sarcastic song Big brothers watching you (co-written by Steve Lukather), and Fee Waybill with his second solo album Don't be scared by these hands.
On Fee's first album Read my lips David Foster was the important co-producer. On his second album Waybill was assisted heavily by vocalist Richard Marx and guitarist Bruce Gaitsch. Steve Lukather played bass and guitars on I know you and keys on Surprise yourself. He also did the co-writing on both songs. Richard Marx also released What's wrong with that on his own album Flesh and bone.
