Steve Lukather: "Toto are sounding AMAZING! Best Toto line up ever (aside from Mikey but Nate is awesome), the vocals are FAR the best ever in our history. Set list is a wam bam knock out 90 minutes+ so THIS will be great and fun.
I LOVED playing with Lee Sklar and I will miss him as he is a very deep and dear soul brother and MONSTER musician, but Nate is great too and has a new spin on it all. You will dig him alot!!! Mikey is obviously missed but it sure is great to Have the Porcaro spirit back in the Toto sound with Steve P.!!!
It REALLY has the classic Toto sound again overall. We are keeping VERY close to record arrangements this time as a thank you to all the fans out there. There is some jamming but in a fun way not re-writing our classic songs and I WILL say vocally by FAR the best has ever been. I quit smoking and drinking so THAT improved me 100% and Dave is in vocal lessons, Joe sings better now than he EVER did... the BG's are KILLER and all real... no bullshit here guys. Come see and you will hear for yourself."
